Elgiganten chooses Santander Consumer Bank in the Nordics for financing offers

After an extensive procurement, Elgiganten has Santander in the Nordics as a new partner for financing offers to private consumers. This means that the Elkjop group, that owns Elgiganten, has expanded its collaboration with Santander, which includes the entire Scandinavian market.

The home electronics chain has had a lot of interest from leading players during the procurement of financing partners, where the choice fell on Santander. Santander, which is one of Scandinavia's major players in consumer finance, best matched Elgiganten's requirements during the procurement. Elkjop group now has co-operation with Santander in Norway, Denmark and Sweden.

- We must offer services that meet our customers' needs. Swedish households must be able, for example, to replace a product that has been unexpectedly damaged. By offering financing solutions, we enable our customers to continue their lives without stopping - with everything from laundry, cleaning and cooking. Santander is a reliable partner that we look forward to working with in the Swedish market as well, says Linnea Cederquist, PR and communications manager at Elgiganten.

The collaboration comes into effect in September 2023.
